Disan Kibalama getting counselling support and guidance from his mother (R) and teacher (L) at their home’s front yard in Bukomansimbi district, Uganda on 16.04.2024. FDisan has lived with epilepsy, especially through his school life. He was lucky to meet a teacher, Gorreth Namugenyi, who enrolled him into the Epilepsy Club at Kayunga Secondary School during the time.
With support from ESAU, Disan was able to get sensitization on his disability and illness, learning more about it and sensitizing other people. On joining their training while still studying, he interacted with others, got medication and built confidence to relate with others.
